Been itching to try a new restaurant or check out the seasonal offerings of an old favorite?
What better time than the bi-annual South Jersey Restaurant Week, which kicks off Sunday and runs through Friday, March 21, sponsored by the South Jersey Independent Restaurant Association (better known as the SJ HOT Chefs).
More than 40 of the area's top independently owned eateries will offer specials: Special four-course dinners for either $25 or $35.
"We are now in our ninth year of Restaurant Week and we couldn’t be happier with the success!” says Anthony Iannone, vice president of SJ Hot Chefs.
Iannone, is also is executive chef/co-owner of Anthony’s Creative Italian Cuisine Restaurant in Haddon Heights.
Assad Khoury, co-owner of Kuzina by Sofia in Cherry Hill and current president of Hot Chefs, says guests who fill out a comment card and sign up for the SJ Hot Chefs' mailing list will receive a $10 gift certificate redeemable at any of the participating restaurants.
